Lucky

Lucky is Ram's class mascot. They can take him home for weekend if they have any special thing is happening. This time Ram wanted to get it since we were visiting Sau and Priti for the baby shower.

Jai loved him and can call him Lucky too.

After weekend Ram has to write journal about weekend with Lucky.

Ram's first running race

In south Windsor, the recreation department organized 0.84 mile race for kids. I talked with Ram and he said he will do it. Did get to take chance for practice, also he had confidence that he can do it. He did a good job, he finished it in 8mins.

Lovely Sunday

In the morning we invited our Neighbour for breakfast and after that had long chatting and photos with Uncle and Aunty since they were leaving for India.

The autumn has started and has brought the beautiful colours and air with it. We decided to go for long drive. Destination was in mind but took a long way to go. We headed for Jonny's Appleseed Farm. Superb view from the hill.

First we reached to an address where the farm was closed but luckily another address was given. We reached there and happy to see the corn maze and pumpkins.
Especially Ram was excited for corn maze, this was his first time to do it.

He and Shri went in corn maze and Jai also joined them. Ram liked it so much that he did it second time.

 It had a hay ride to go the apple farms.

 Mums were blooming.

We all had so much fun picking apple..especially Jai. He picked is own apple from tree and was eating till we reached home. He loved the fresh apple very much.Ram liked the golden delicious and demaned in the school lunch also.

Ram doing art work

Ram likes to draw and paint but never get chance to teach him. Now I have decided to work with him. Today was first day to sit with him and do some work and he did a good job. Here is his first piece of work.

Ram at Lowe's workshop

Ram likes to go to Lowe's Build and Grow workshop. He is been going from 2-3 years. Last week I registered him for Firetruck workshop after almost a year. To my surprise he did awesome job.

Since I went with Jai, couldn't sit with him and he did almost everything all by himself.

I really felt very proud of my boy.

Love for each other

Now Jai is 18 months and likes to play with Dada a lot. Ram also likes to do masti with him. He takes care of Jai too. It's lovely to see them playing together and enjoying each others company. At the library entrance walking together.

At Iniya's art exhibition

Iniya has been going to art lessons. This weekend they had exhibition of paintings by all kids in the art class. We were invited by Raja family for her very first art exhibition.

Mother's day

This mother's day was really special for me. Got first gift from Jai and Ram gave a book, which he wrote on his own (without Baba's help) in school for me.

Mother's day celebration started on Friday, in Jai's school with iced tea. Also Jai and his friends painted a big poster for all their moms. There was lot of hard work in it ;)

Jai also made a pie for me. I got a cute little book of Jai's adorable activities in school. I also got a flower plant. 

When I picked up Ram from school bus, he gave me a card, tea bag and special 'Book for Mom'. I read it and what I felt can't explain in words. I was touched.
