At Iniya's art exhibition

Iniya has been going to art lessons. This weekend they had exhibition of paintings by all kids in the art class. We were invited by Raja family for her very first art exhibition.

Tour to exhibition was followed by lovely dinner at Raja family.

Mother's day

This mother's day was really special for me. Got first gift from Jai and Ram gave a book, which he wrote on his own (without Baba's help) in school for me.

Mother's day celebration started on Friday, in Jai's school with iced tea. Also Jai and his friends painted a big poster for all their moms. There was lot of hard work in it ;)

Jai also made a pie for me. I got a cute little book of Jai's adorable activities in school. I also got a flower plant. 

When I picked up Ram from school bus, he gave me a card, tea bag and special 'Book for Mom'. I read it and what I felt can't explain in words. I was touched.

On Mother's day got a special breakfast and gift (from Shri ;)).

It was the best Mother's day ever :)

Ram's ELL Program

In Ram's school there is program for kids who don't speak English at home. He is the only such kid in the class. Mrs. Fisher helped Ram to improve his vocabulary and English Language.

Ram did really good and here is the result.

Ram's performance in a Talent show

Two weeks back Ram came home with an excitement. "There is a talent show and I want to perform in it."

Ram and mamma discussed various options like piano, dance, singing. Finally he came up with option of telling jokes/riddles.

He and his Aaba (grand father) used to share jokes during weekly calls. So finally he decided to this.

Next thing was choosing jokes/riddles. He got riddle books from school library on his own and picked some good ones. Wrote them on a paper.  Every evening after his studies he practiced them in front of mamma and baba.

Well here is final output of all his efforts.

It was the proud moment for Mama and Baba :)
