They decorated the Christmas tree

On Black Friday I went for shopping while  Ram and Jai decorated the Chritmas tree  with the help of Shri.

Chinchwad

The other day Jai said "I love Chinchwad" Day before yesterday he was missing aaj Aaba so much that he said I want to go to Chinchwad by parachute, we will hang our car to parachute and put all our things in car. We will go up up in the clouds and then will reach Chinhwad.

Rams Marathi Learning

Ram is going to Marathi school every Friday. I started teaching him in summer vacation and he is doing good. This week they gave homework and I thought its tough but he did good. Feeling very proud.

Ram at LegoFest!

Ram was really excited about LegoFest, Shri booked it long ago for Saturday but since ram got bday invitation for Saturday he moved it to Sunday morning. Ram enjoyed every second of it. There many activities and Ram said he could do almost all except couple.

After that Shri took him to BWW where he wanted to go from long time. At home in the eve he asked me to make bhajis while watching chennai express so it was totally Rams day!

While they went to mall me andJai had great time in mall. Jai enjoyed it a lot since we don't take him to mall. There was Santa and all holiday decorations too, he loves it. He cried a lot when it was time to go home.

Fall fun

Fall is great season for all the heavenly colors. At the same time its great for kids to play in fallen leaves.

 

Ram Jai and Ruhi

Ruhi is excited about Ram dada and Jai dada. She likes to play with Ram dada. With Jai dada she likes to play with what he is playing.

Rams help in Rangoli

I participated in CTMM rangoli competition. We reached late because of traffic and I was tensed but my little helper gave courage to complete it. He helped to decorate it too. Felt so good. He helped us making Akashkandil too.

Halloween

Ram is always excited about halloween. He loves to go to Wyndwood too. He became Ninja and Jai Power Ranger.

He was looking very cute!

Jai enjoyed his costume too. We just went to Drew and Anika's house for trick or treat since it was cold. But afterwards it become warm. He did trick or treat at school with friends too.

First bhaubeej

This was first bhaubeej of Ram, Ruhi and Jai. We went to Edison. Priti did the ritual. Ram got painjan for her and Jai Indian traditional dress.

Ram made apple pie all by himself

Ram loves apple and apple related stuff like apple crisp, apple cider and apple pie. This time he was super excited since he was going to make his own. This was first time we allowed him to use peeler and used it like pro.

He cut it all by himself. I made the mixture and he wrapped pie and kept it in oven.

 

The pie was yummy!

Mt. Mansfield

Shri drove the car to Mt.Mansfield. It is 4300+feet tall mountain. The highest parking lot is on 4000feet and then we did hiking around the mountain.

Shri did awesome job of driving, there were lot of hairpin turns and steep slopes. The drive was gorgeous. The views were stunning.

There were views of Lake Champlain and Canada from the top of the mountain.

We got this :)

Ram loved the hiking, nowadays he is too enthusiastic when we are going on mountains or hiking.

Rams Caillou picture

Jai loves watching Caillou and me too so Ram. Ram nowadays look for videos on YouTube if he decides to draw something. Day before yesterday he wanted to draw Caillou and he did an awesome job!

Water Babies

On one nice in June we decided to go to hot air balloon festival, we started early morning around 6 and enjoyed the hot air balloon festival. After that I was looking for beach for kids and found this beautiful beach on lake Wyola. The water was very clean. Jai and Ram enjoyed it too the fullest. The water was warm and there were cute little fishes in it too.

Ram's first diving

Today we went on pool and Ram declared that he is going to dive. When we went into the pool, he said he will swim for some time and then go. After some time he said I want to go now. Me and Jai came out to go with him and he changed his mind. We again came in the normal pool and after doing this same thing once, Ram finally stood in the line and made his mind to dive and.....he did it.

After that he kept doing and was difficult to get him out :)

The water is 12 feet deep where he jumped. Another feather in his hat :)

Mother's Day!!

This year I got paintings from both boys on Mother's day.
Ram's painting looks mature and its very beautiful.

Ram said though, his art teacher is very smart :)
Jai made a block painting and his teacher took nice pictures
and made a lovely frame for me.
On Mother's day Shrikant took me out for late lunch at Plan B.
I really every bite of the food and each sip of special drink.
Jai ate at home so he was happy playing there and tasting everything
from Baba's plate. Ram enjoyed his chicken wings.
We came back and Shri took them to park and I had a good nap.
It was a very relaxing and pampered Mother's day!!
Loved it!!

Magic Tree House

Ram has started reading chapter books from few months.
Actually when we went to India, his teacher gave one chapter book
from class library to him.
His teacher has class library and she has a series called Magic Tree house
and It really did Magic on Ram :)
It took one month to finish the book (He used to write all the details
about the chapter, what he liked and prediction about next chapter)
In February winter vacation he read second book in one week with same writing
and recently he is done with 45 books of Magic Tree House. He reads some
other books too.
Ram wanted to read more and more book of Magic Tree house which
were unavailable in the South Windsor Library so I went to Windsor Locks
Library and found that they have almost all. I got about 15 of them in his spring vacation
and he read them all.
Magic Tree House has 49 books and 28 fact trackers, he read couple of fact
trackers too.
Magic Tree House has website and they have passport where you take a quiz after
reading a book and then get a stamp in your passport.
Ram has got 45 stamps and 2 fact tracker stamps :)
It feels immense pleasure to see him reading and sometimes he goes crazy.
I used to love reading and Shri still loves it, I hope he follows the same.
I remember Aie finished all the books in Rajgurunagar library and she read
some books 2-3 times. Ram's Aba also loves to read and has good collection of
books at home itself.

Ram and Sam at talent show

So here it goes again, time runs so fast. Last year Ram performed in his school talent show, telling riddles.

This year his friend Sam came up with an idea of tweaking currently famous rap song. They filled up the words of their world.

They worked really hard. Created dance steps, practiced for 2 weeks and presented a great performance on stage.

Jai talks shoooo much

Jai is very verbal and we just enjoy his small talks. His pretend plays are real fun.

Today while coming from school, he was looking out the window.
Jai: mama look clouds!!
Mama: what is the colour of clouds?
Jai: white!!!
Jai: I want to eat clouds
Mama: u can't eat clouds.
In between he pretended to grab and eat clouds and said "pot bharala"(I am full)....Delicious!!!!!

It was really nice that moment was. He talks really good. So much fun.

Innocent Ram

I was making Ram sleep and suddenly he asked me if he could stop going school from Monday. I asked him, Can I know the reason. It touched my heart. He said, he wants to chant Om nama shivay Million times so that god will come and he will tell him his wishes. 

I didn't have any answer but I told him, no need to stay home. U can chant whenever u get time and u will see the god. Second day we were going to Dance class and it takes 20-25 mins and for that long he was chanting.

I can not express in words what I felt.

Ram's valentines day robot

A week before valentines day Ram got a project from his school to make a low cost robot for valentines day.

Odd tough hmm... any way Ram and mama bought some raw materials. Ram found some recyclable boxes at home and made this innovative valentines day goodies collector robot. 


When he brought back the robot after valentines day it was filled with goodies :)

My babies can cook :)

Ram is making his own poli almost everyday from couple of months and Jai knows how to make omelet :)
I am really happy to see my kids cooking :)

Jai missing the loved ones!!

Its been one month and Jai still remembers most of the people and misses and talks about the loved ones :)
Day before yesterday he was playing and suddenly he said "Anu Chachu, Ye"
He always talks about "Thiru Uncle and Aarush"
Shri got papaya and after showing him that, first thing he said was "Mama. Papaya, Thiru Uncle".
He also relates pigeon with Thiru Uncle.
Loves to listen "Kiti natawar natashi" by Pune Aaji many times, once he starts listening.
If he remembers one person will list all of them related.
Like if he says Aarush, then Thiru Uncle and Anunu comes and then Pune Aaji and Aba.
If he says Anu chachu, then he will say Chachi, Aaji, Aba.
One day he took my phone and said "Aba, call Aba". He meant to call Nagpur Aba on skype.
He also remembers all kaka, kau, and Bhagibi i.e Bhargavi my cousin sisters daughter.
Yesterday while coming home from school he said, "Anu chachu, come, chachi come".
The other day he was talking with Aarush and he wanted Aarush to lift him.
He was saying "Aarush up up".
There are so many things...but right now just remember this much!!
