Ram's performance at music concert in his school

Ram had music concert in his school. We got a pleasant surprise to watch his 8-10 performances.

Jai says

Yesterday I had conference with Jai's teacher and was super happy to hear about him.

She told that "Jai spreads positivity all over the class, helps making sound (reading) to 4 yr old and never hurts anybody."

Yesterday he went to field trip on school bus. He was sitting across his teacher. He turned and said "Guess what Ms.Jessica". Ms.Jessica said, "Tell me Jai". Jai's reply was,"I like how my Mama smells, I love to hug her" :)

Came to home from school and was playing on sofa, just turned and said "Aaji, I want to marry you"

It was a happy day for me :)

Aaji sent special Diwali gift

This year our Diwali has already started since Aaji sent us lots of things that too one week before. 

When we opened door to get the parcel, Jai immediately went to take scissors and opened it. He didn't eat dinner and ate faral. Both were happy to get the special gift.

Last year we didn't do pumpkin carving so Ram was excited to get the pumpkin and carve by himself. Jai was excited since dada was excited.

Monopoly fun

On Sunday Ram and Jai declared that they will play monopoly with me since Shri was busy. Jai and Ram did great job. We played almost for 3-4 hrs in pieces. It was super fun. Ram had lot of money and bought expensive things strategically and Jai bought lot of things and still had enough money. I was the loser who had loan from bank 😄

My 4th grader

Ram is happy about his new school and learning a lot of new things. Lot of activities to keep track and do it. The school has great infrastructure and exposure is very good too. He has music and chorus, also learning new languages Spanish and Chinese. Lot of homework and reading. Lot of changes in 4th grade.

Last year school had orientation to choose an instrument to play. School has band and it starts at 4th grade level. He chose Trumpet. Last year he was supposed to in PR Smith School but he got admission in Magnet School so he is going to International Magnet School, an IB school.

The music lesson started last week and this is progress at the end of first week :)

Jai first day of school

We decided to put Jai in Windsor Montessori school since he is a that kind of kid. Before one week of school I took Ram and Jai to the school and Ram gave him tour. He was very excited to see the school since it was Dada's school. Every moms dream is to have tear free first day of school and yes mine has come true. Proud of you baby 😘😘

Ram turning nine

This is it was grand celebration with family. Three grand ma did Aukshan. Cake cutting was done at Diptis house. I got him his favorite chocolate cake. Me and Shri got him nice dress, Lego crocks and collectible books. Aaji got gold biscuit and Aaba got him pen drive, which was his bday first on his wishlist. 

Sau Chachu and Kaku got toys of his choice and Dipti Mau and Hrishi uncle got nice poem stickers. Got money from all the aajis 😊

We started to come back in the afternoon. We stopped at go kart. Ram played mini golf with Aaji, Aaba. Then had fun with Jai in bumper boat. They loves it so much that they rode it for three times. Ram did go karting all by himself and Shri did it with Jai. After that we went to early dinner in Priya, Rams favorite place. Visited new home after a week. He wanted to sleep in our bed. Me and he had a long bday talk. He was very happy the way, the day was spent 😊

Going to Natural Histroy Museum on his bday and had a great time. He wanted to explore extinct animal exhibit.

Hiking with Aaji Aaba

Aaji is playing soccer with Ram and Jai in full enthusiasm 😊

So we decided to go for hiking. We decided to go to Talcott Mountain but Ram changed his mind since we went there couple times. 

We chose to go to Penwood State Park. It was 4 miles hike and everybody did great job!!

Jai wanted a stick so Aaba found stick for him. He was not satisfied until he got right one. Aaba kept searching...between Jai learned how to break a big stick with foot. 

Ram and Aaji were always leading in the position.

After 2 miles of hilly walk we reached to pond where we snacked and saw a big turtle. 

After hiking we went to Plan B burger and did petpooja 😊
